Ellie is a big fan of The Chronicles of Narnia, so the only place that Dan considered for the big question was Cathedral Cove. A few months prior Dan reached out to me with a request to capture it all as well as help planning. We discussed every single detail – positioning during the proposal, tide, sunrise, outfits – you name it. When it comes to surprise proposals everything becomes so important! As I will have to be there well before them, get ready and wait, I also have to make sure Dan sticks to the plan and everything goes well.
Cathedral Cove proposal
We knew exactly where the sun was going to be, so decided that the arch would be the best spot for the big question. It definitely took Ellie by surprise, but how special is this moment?!
Engagement photo session that followed
A few moments after, Dan and Ellie got changed and were ready for some sunrise magic at the beach. Creating memories at the place that means something is special enough, let alone after such a roller coaster of emotions!
