Family portraits at Hahei Beach while travelling NZ

When families visit New Zealand, they often dream of taking home not just memories, but beautiful photographs of their adventures too. Hahei Beach family photos are the perfect way to remember time spent in the Coromandel, and I was lucky enough to capture a gorgeous Canadian family of four during their travels here.

Brianna and Vince, along with their two little ones came all the way from Canada to explore New Zealand. While in the Coromandel, they decided to arrange a family photo session at Hahei Beach, and it turned into such a special morning. The beach gave us sparkling blue water, soft sand, and the most beautiful light. Even though it was a very sunny day, we worked carefully with the light to keep everyone comfortable and to create natural, flattering portraits.

The kids were absolute stars. Ella loved playing in the sand, running along the shoreline, and showing me her biggest smiles. Baby Matteo melted hearts with his giggles and snuggles, and we managed to capture both candid and gently posed moments that showed the love between them all. This is one of the things I adore most about photographing young families – every little moment is worth remembering.
